About the Author

James is a fantasy fan at heart. He loves to read and to dive headfirst into another world. He is married with two daughters. He is a full-time nurse practitioner and works on his novels mostly in the evenings. He is also in the Army Reserve and is a Captain in the Nurse Corps. When not working, spending time with his family, or writing, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and metal detecting.
